Odilie Calvo

Executive Co-Director and Founder.  Odilie worked for twenty years in the financial and economic arena in Central America. She was also a consultant and an international mediator for business development in Latin America and Europe. Odilie has a Business Development degree from National University of Costa Rica and a BS in Financial Business from University Autonoma of Costa Rica.  


Jennifer Buell Horschman

Executive Co-Director.  Jennifer has teaching certifications and experience from elementary to community college.  She also held sales and marketing positions with non-profit and for-profit companies. Jennifer received her Masters of Education in Cultural Diversity and Curriculum Reform from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst as well as a B.A. from Brown University in American Civilization/American Education.  


Carina Cordero Brossy

Global Education Specialist.  Carina is a global education consultant who works with K-12 schools, colleges, and international organizations to integrate cross-cultural strategies into curriculum and business models.  Prior to consulting, Carina served as assistant director for curriculum at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s World View program. While at World View she led professional development study visits to Costa Rica, Honduras, India, and Russia. Carina has degrees in International Affairs and Spanish with additional language concentrations in French and Mandarin. 

We partner with many specialized professionals from universities, businesses, and communities in Costa Rica.  Depending on the program focus, relevant expert bilingual professionals are utilized for a roundtable discussion or organized experience.  CV and bios can be sent by request.  

Our local instructors are trained and experienced with academic backgrounds including degrees in Spanish as a Second Language, Master of Education Pedagogy, and from local high schools and other educational institutions. 

Local community members and public and private institutions are integral parts of our network that enhance our multi-disciplinary programs.
