Education Programs

Global Connections is our Middle School program focusing on developing local connections with host families, schools and life in Costa Rica.  This program is the ideal introduction to global learning with an emphasis on reflecting on experiences, problem solving and developing friendships in Costa Rica.

Global Leadership is our High School program focusing on developing and demonstrating leadership skills within local communities.  This program encourages learners to demonstrate critical thinking about global and local issues, communicate with diverse audiences and actively participate in worthwhile community service.

Global Focus is our Higher Education program which is a subject-area program designed to integrate cross-cultural components to community college, college, or university curriculum. These programs are intricately customized to align to coursework and budgets.

Immersion Abroad Costa Rica Professional Development programs are designed to develop cross-cultural skills in working professionals. Programs are customized to align to workplace goals and include lectures and roundtable discussions with Costa Rican professionals.  Our Professional Development programs all have the following core components: Education, Culture, Ecology and Reflection.
